Ingredients
  

Bread and Base
  • 4 rolls Italian sub rolls or hoagie rolls
Meats
  • 4 oz sliced salami
  • 4 oz sliced ham
  • 4 oz sliced pepperoni
Cheese
  • 8 oz provolone cheese sliced
Vegetables
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato sliced
  • 1/4 cup banana peppers sliced
Condiments
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp mustard optional

Method
 

Prepare the Oven
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Assemble the Sandwiches
  1. Slice the Italian sub rolls in half lengthwise.
  2. Layer the salami, ham, and pepperoni evenly on the bottom half of each roll.
  3. Add the provolone cheese on top of the meats.
  4. Top with shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and banana peppers.
Add Condiments
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, Italian seasoning, and red wine vinegar.
  2. Drizzle the mixture over the toppings on each sandwich.
  3. Spread mustard on the top half of the rolls if desired.
Bake the Sandwiches
  1. Place the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet and cover with aluminum foil.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
