Ingredients

Sauce Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter for sautéing
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup dry white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1 cup heavy cream for richness
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated, for serving

Method

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Allow it to reduce by half, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and thyme. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
  5. Serve over cooked ravioli and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
