White Pizza with Prosciutto & Hot Honey

Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 lb Pizza Dough Store-bought or homemade
Cheese Mixture
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese Whole milk recommended
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
Toppings
  • 4 oz Prosciutto Thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Hot Honey Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For drizzling
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Basil Chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Oven
  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
Make the Cheese Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Roll Out the Dough
  1. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness, about 12 inches in diameter.
Assemble the Pizza
  1. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a piece of parchment paper. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  2. Top with slices of prosciutto and drizzle with olive oil.
Bake the Pizza
  1. Carefully transfer the pizza (with parchment) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
Finish and Serve
  1. Remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle hot honey over the top. Garnish with fresh basil. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For a homemade hot honey, combine honey with red pepper flakes and heat gently until infused.
