Ingredients
  

Chocolate Layer
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate
Banana Layer
  • 2 medium ripe bananas sliced
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts such as walnuts or almonds
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips

Method
 

Prepare the Baking Sheet
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, ensuring it covers the entire surface.
Melt the Chocolate
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
Spread the Chocolate
  1. Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly with a spatula.
Add Banana Slices
  1. Evenly distribute the sliced bananas over the melted chocolate layer.
Add Toppings
  1. Sprinkle the chopped nuts, shredded coconut, and mini chocolate chips over the bananas.
Chill the Bark
  1. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 45 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
Break and Serve
  1. Once set, break the chocolate banana bark into pieces and serve.
