Ingredients
  

Turkey Mixture
  • 1 lb Ground turkey Lean ground turkey is preferred.
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs Use seasoned bread crumbs for added flavor.
  • 1 cup Chicken broth Low sodium recommended.
  • 1 tsp Dried sage Can substitute with thyme.
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme Optional.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper Freshly ground preferred.
  • 1 large Egg Beaten.

Method
 

Prepare the Mixture
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, chicken broth, sage, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and beaten egg.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
Form the Balls
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Using your hands, form the mixture into balls about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  3. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  2. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These turkey stuffing balls can be made ahead of time and frozen. Just bake them straight from the freezer, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
