Ingredients
  

Onions
  • 2 large yellow onions sliced into rings
Breading Mixture
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese for cheesiness
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Wet Mixture
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk

Method
 

Prepare the Onions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the onions into rings and separate them.
Make the Breading
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Prepare the Wet Mixture
  1. In another bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs and milk.
Coat the Onions
  1. Dip each onion ring into the wet mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
Bake
  1. Place the coated onion rings in a single layer in a baking dish.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
