Prepare the Brownies
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar, mixing until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting into bite-sized pieces.
Assemble the Kabobs
- Once the brownies are cooled, cut them into 1-inch squares.
- On each skewer, alternate threading a brownie piece and a strawberry half.
- Repeat until the skewer is filled, leaving space at the ends for handling.
- If desired, melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the assembled kabobs.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
