Ingredients
  

Brownie Ingredients
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Kabob Ingredients
  • 12 medium fresh strawberries hulled and halved
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional for drizzling
  • 4 wooden skewers skewers

Method
 

Prepare the Brownies
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar, mixing until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting into bite-sized pieces.
Assemble the Kabobs
  1. Once the brownies are cooled, cut them into 1-inch squares.
  2. On each skewer, alternate threading a brownie piece and a strawberry half.
  3. Repeat until the skewer is filled, leaving space at the ends for handling.
  4. If desired, melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the assembled kabobs.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
