Ingredients

Steak Bites
  • 1 pound sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
Shell Pasta
  • 8 ounces shell pasta cooked according to package instructions
  • 1 tablespoon salt for boiling water
Garlic Butter Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste

Method

Prepare the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the shell pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, return the drained pasta and set aside while preparing the sauce.
Cook the Steak Bites
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
Combine and Serve
  1. Add the cooked shell pasta and steak bites to the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat everything evenly in the sauce.
  2. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
