Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
Spices
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Vegetables
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 medium bell pepper chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
Liquid
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Shrimp
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, paprika, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Set aside to marinate for about 10 minutes.
Cook the Vegetables
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and bell pepper, sauté for 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
Cook the Shrimp
  1. Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine. Let simmer for another 3-5 minutes.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot over rice or with crusty bread.
