Method
Prepare the Blondie Batter
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Bake the Blondies
- Pour half of the blondie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter and sprinkle with half of the pretzel pieces.
- Spread the remaining blondie batter on top, followed by the rest of the caramel sauce and pretzel pieces.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Finish and Serve
- Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle the top with sea salt while still warm.
- Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
