Dates
  • 12 pieces Medjool dates pitted
Filling
  • 4 oz goat cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp honey for drizzling
  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts optional
Seasoning
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Dates
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the dates lengthwise and remove the pits if not already pitted.
Make the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened goat cheese, chopped walnuts, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and creamy.
Stuff the Dates
  1. Stuff each date with the goat cheese mixture, pressing gently to close.
Roast the Dates
  1. Place the stuffed dates on a baking sheet and drizzle with honey.
  2. Roast in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until golden and warm.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  2. Enjoy warm as an appetizer or snack.
