Method
Prepare the Casserole
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix until well combined and pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Add the Topping
- In a separate bowl, mix the crushed butter crackers with melted butter until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
