Ingredients
  

Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
Glaze
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup orange juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest zest of one orange
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil for roasting
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Cranberries
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries for topping

Method
 

Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Make the Glaze
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together maple syrup, orange juice, and orange zest.
Roast the Brussels Sprouts
  1. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  2. Drizzle the glaze over the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with dried cranberries before serving.
