Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon skinless
Orange Glaze
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch optional for thickening
  • 1 tablespoon water for cornstarch slurry
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Glaze
  1. In a small saucepan, combine the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and orange zest. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Add to the saucepan and stir until the glaze thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
Prepare the Salmon
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Bake the Salmon
  1. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the orange glaze over the top.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with additional glaze if desired.
