Method
Prepare the Glaze
- In a small saucepan, combine the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and orange zest. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Add to the saucepan and stir until the glaze thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
Prepare the Salmon
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Bake the Salmon
- Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the orange glaze over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Serve
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Drizzle with additional glaze if desired.
