Cook Bacon
- In a large pot over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
Cook Pasta and Broccoli
- In the same pot, add the chicken broth, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Add the elbow macaroni and broccoli florets. Stir well and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and liquid is mostly absorbed.
Make Cheese Sauce
- Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the cream cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese gradually, stirring until fully melted and creamy.
Combine and Serve
- Stir the cooked bacon back into the pot. Serve hot, garnished with extra cheese if desired.
