Method
Prepare the Muffin Tin
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin or line it with muffin liners.
Mix Dry Ingredients
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients: flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Mix Wet Ingredients
- In another bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, maple syrup, milk, vegetable oil, and egg until smooth.
Combine Mixtures
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Fill Muffin Tin
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
- Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
