Prepare the Marinade
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper.
Marinate the Tilapia
- Place tilapia fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
Cook the Tilapia
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated tilapia fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Sauté the Green Beans
- In another skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add green beans and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until tender but still crisp.
Serve
- Plate the tilapia fillets alongside the sautéed green beans. Serve immediately.
