Ingredients
  

Tilapia
  • 4 fillets tilapia fresh or thawed
Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest for added flavor
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Green Beans
  • 1 pound green beans trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon butter for sautéing
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper.
Marinate the Tilapia
  1. Place tilapia fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
Cook the Tilapia
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated tilapia fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Sauté the Green Beans
  1. In another skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  2. Add green beans and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until tender but still crisp.
Serve
  1. Plate the tilapia fillets alongside the sautéed green beans. Serve immediately.
