  • 2 tbsp honey for drizzling
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking sausage
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional for extra heat
  • 1 tsp dried oregano for seasoning
Sauce
  • 1 cup pizza sauce store-bought or homemade

Method

Prepare the Sausage
  1. In a frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the hot Italian sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes.
  2. If desired, add red pepper flakes for extra heat and mix well.
Preheat the Oven
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat up.
Assemble the Pizza
  1. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  2. Transfer the rolled dough to a piece of parchment paper.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese, followed by the cooked sausage and crumbled feta cheese.
  5. Sprinkle dried oregano on top.
Bake the Pizza
  1. Carefully slide the pizza (with parchment) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Finish and Serve
  1. Remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle honey over the top.
  2. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.

Feel free to customize the toppings according to your preference. Adding fresh arugula after baking can add a nice peppery flavor.
