Method
Prepare the Sausage
- In a frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the hot Italian sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes.
- If desired, add red pepper flakes for extra heat and mix well.
Preheat the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat up.
Assemble the Pizza
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a piece of parchment paper.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese, followed by the cooked sausage and crumbled feta cheese.
- Sprinkle dried oregano on top.
Bake the Pizza
- Carefully slide the pizza (with parchment) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Finish and Serve
- Remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle honey over the top.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.

Feel free to customize the toppings according to your preference. Adding fresh arugula after baking can add a nice peppery flavor.
