Ingredients
  

Pasta and Meat
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini fresh or frozen
  • 1 lb sirloin steak thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking steak
Cheese Sauce
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs for topping
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Tortellini
  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and add the sliced steak. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Make the Cheese Sauce
  1. In a large pot, combine heavy cream, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Combine and Assemble
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked tortellini, cooked steak, and cheese sauce. Mix well.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
Bake the Casserole
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the casserole for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes
