Method
Cook the Pasta
- In a large pot, melt 1/4 cup of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the spaghetti, chicken broth, and heavy cream to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the sauce has thickened.
Finish the Dish
- Remove the pot from heat. Stir in the remaining 1/4 cup of butter and grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
