Ingredients

Pasta
  • 12 oz spaghetti or any pasta of choice
Butter and Garlic
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter divided
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
Broth and Seasonings
  • 4 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
Finishing Touches
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Method

Cook the Pasta
  1. In a large pot, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add the spaghetti and chicken broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed.
Finish the Dish
  1. Remove the pot from heat. Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, grated parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  2. Toss until everything is well combined and creamy. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
