Method
Cook the Pasta
- In a large pot, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the spaghetti and chicken broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed.
Finish the Dish
- Remove the pot from heat. Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, grated parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Toss until everything is well combined and creamy. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
