Ingredients
  

Beef Chops
  • 4 pieces beef chops about 1 inch thick
Mushroom Mixture
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
Butter Sauce
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter divided
  • 1 tsp olive oil
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Beef Chops
  1. Season the beef chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Use a meat mallet to gently pound the chops to an even thickness.
Cook the Beef Chops
  1. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter and olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the beef chops and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  3. Remove the chops from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Mushroom Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the chopped parsley and stir to combine.
Combine and Serve
  1. Return the beef chops to the skillet and spoon the mushroom sauce over them.
  2. Cook for another 2 minutes to heat through.
  3. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
