Ingredients
  

Noodles
  • 8 oz chow mein noodles or any thin egg noodles
Vegetables
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 medium carrot julienned
  • 2 stalks green onions sliced
Sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Method
 

Prepare the Noodles
  1. Boil water in a pot and cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions until al dente, about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Stir-Fry the Vegetables
  1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the shredded cabbage, carrot, and green onions. Stir-fry for about 3 minutes until slightly softened.
Combine Noodles and Sauce
  1. Add the cooked noodles and bean sprouts to the skillet. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
