Prepare the Chicken
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties and coat each patty with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat and cook the patties until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Assemble the Sandwich
- Spread Caesar dressing on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
- Layer the crispy chicken patty on top of the dressing on two slices of bread.
- Add chopped romaine lettuce and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, dressing side down, and press gently.
Serve
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately with extra Caesar dressing on the side.
