Method
Prepare the Tofu
- Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Fry the Tofu
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the tofu cubes in batches until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the tofu and drain on paper towels.
Make the Gochujang Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, and rice vinegar until smooth.
Combine and Serve
- In a large bowl, toss the crispy tofu with the gochujang sauce until well coated.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
