Ingredients
  

Crispy Chicken
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup buttermilk for marinating
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for coating
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
Caesar Salad Ingredients
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing store-bought or homemade
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup croutons optional for topping
Sandwich Assembly
  • 4 slices ciabatta bread or any preferred sandwich bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter for toasting the bread

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove chicken from buttermilk, coat in flour mixture, then dip in panko breadcrumbs.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Assemble the Sandwich
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped romaine, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and croutons.
  2. Butter the ciabatta bread and toast it in a pan until golden brown.
  3. Layer the crispy chicken on the toasted bread, add the Caesar salad mixture, and top with another slice of bread.
Serve
  1. Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
