Prepare the Mushrooms
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems.
Make the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, green onions, garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper.
- Mix until well combined and creamy.
Stuff the Mushrooms
- Spoon the crab mixture into each mushroom cap, pressing down slightly to pack the filling.
Add Topping and Bake
- In a small bowl, mix the bread crumbs with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the stuffed mushrooms.
- Place the mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the topping is golden brown.
Serve
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
