Ingredients
  

Tea Base
  • 4 cups water filtered or spring water
  • 2 sticks cinnamon or 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons honey adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed

Method
 

Prepare the Tea
  1. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the cinnamon sticks (or ground cinnamon) to the boiling water.
  3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and strain the tea into teacups.
  5. Stir in honey and lemon juice to taste.
