Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro chopped
Dressing
  • 1 lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Vegetables
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and chopped cilantro.
  2. Toss the vegetables together until well mixed.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, olive oil, honey (if using), salt, and black pepper.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss until the vegetables are evenly coated.
  2. Let the slaw sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving.
