In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and ground cinnamon. Set aside.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter with brown and white sugars until creamy. Add vanilla and eggs one at a time.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Take two tablespoons of dough, flatten, add peanut butter filling, fold and roll into a ball.
Arrange on parchment-lined baking sheets and bake for 12–15 minutes. Cool on baking sheets before transferring to wire racks.
