Method
Prepare the Pasta
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, combine cooked spaghetti, shredded chicken, and sliced mushrooms.
Make the Sauce
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in chicken broth, heavy cream, and milk. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Combine and Bake
- Pour the sauce over the pasta mixture and stir to combine.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese, then sprinkle over the top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
