Ingredients
  

Pasta and Chicken
  • 8 oz spaghetti uncooked
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth low sodium
Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk whole
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp butter unsalted
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Topping
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Method
 

Prepare the Pasta
  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, combine cooked spaghetti, shredded chicken, and sliced mushrooms.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Gradually whisk in chicken broth, heavy cream, and milk. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Combine and Bake
  1. Pour the sauce over the pasta mixture and stir to combine.
  2. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese, then sprinkle over the top.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes
