Prepare Chicken
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Make Cream Sauce
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and parmesan cheese, whisking until smooth.
- Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve
- Add the chopped spinach to the sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve the chicken on a plate with the creamy spinach sauce poured over the top.
