Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy or chunky
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, using an electric mixer, beat together the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Bake the Cookies
  1. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  2. Flatten each ball slightly with a fork, creating a crisscross pattern on top.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  4. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
