Prepare the Batter
- In a mixing bowl, combine corn kernels, flour, beaten egg, milk, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar and grated parmesan cheese until evenly distributed.
Fry the Fritters
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Using a ladle, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, flattening them slightly with the back of the ladle.
- Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove fritters from the pan and drain on paper towels.
Serve
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
