Method
Prepare the Cookie Dough
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Make the Filling
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
Assemble the Cookies
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the cookie dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place half on the baking sheet.
- Spoon a small amount of the filling onto each cookie shape on the baking sheet.

- In a bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Finish the Cookies
- Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies and let set before serving.
