Prepare the Marinade
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together brown sugar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper until well combined.
Marinate the Chicken
- Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Bake the Chicken
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it skin-side up in the baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serve
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Drizzle with any remaining marinade from the baking dish.
