Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Lining a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper makes cleanup easier.
In a small mixing bowl, add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, sea salt, and black pepper. Blend these spices together.
Add olive oil to the spice mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.
Allow the chicken legs to come to room temperature for about 15 minutes. Coat each drumstick with the seasoning oil mixture.
Place the seasoned chicken legs in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
Bake in your preheated oven for about 30 minutes on the middle rack.
After 30 minutes, brush any oil that has gathered on the tray over the legs and return them to bake for another 5–10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Use an instant-read thermometer to check that the thickest part of the drumstick registers at least 165 degrees F.
