Ingredients

  • 2 large apples
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 2 tsp oil or butter, or omit for fat free

Method

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients and preparing your air fryer tray. Grease it lightly or use air fryer liners. Peel the apples if desired, then chop them into small squares, sticks, or thinly sliced chips, discarding any cores and seeds.
  2. In a bowl, toss the chopped apples with cinnamon, maple syrup (or your preferred sweetener), and optionally melted butter or oil. Preheat your air fryer to 400 F.
  3. Arrange the seasoned apple pieces in a single layer on the greased tray. Air fry for seven minutes, then shake the tray and continue baking for another eight minutes until crispy and caramelized.
