- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Marinate beef strips for 10-15 minutes.
- Sauté sliced onions in 1 tbsp vegetable oil until soft and caramelized. Set aside.
