  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam (your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Stir in the peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry mixture to wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan. Dollop jelly on top and swirl gently with a knife. Add remaining batter and repeat with more jelly on top.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
