  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare a donut pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry mixtures until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
  5. Pipe batter into donut pan wells until half full.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until donuts spring back when touched.
  7. Cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. While cooling, prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  9. Dunk each donut in glaze before placing it back on the rack to set.
