  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (for frosting)
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • Pinch of salt (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk, water, and yeast in a mixing bowl; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add sugar, salt, softened butter, eggs, cocoa powder, food coloring, and vanilla. Gradually mix in flour until soft dough forms; knead for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour or until doubled in size.
