  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons plant-based butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and grease your donut pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined—avoid overmixing.
  5. Transfer the batter into a piping bag and fill each donut cavity evenly.
  6. Bake for 15-16 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow donuts to cool for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a rack.
  8. Brush with melted plant-based butter and roll in cinnamon sugar.
