  • 3 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (for crumb topping)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (for crumb topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon for the crumb topping. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs; set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine egg, sour cream, melted butter, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Gently fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fill each mold of the donut pan with batter and generously sprinkle with crumb topping.
