  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  4. Gradually alternate adding the dry mix and sour cream to the butter mixture until combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, add remaining batter, then swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
