  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Fresh lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and drizzle with olive oil. Season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes until crispy. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. While the salmon cooks, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey or maple syrup (if using), and rice vinegar in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Plate the cooked salmon, drizzle with the bang bang sauce, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
