  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling by melting butter in a saucepan, adding diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Cook until softened; then mix cornstarch with water and stir into the apple mixture until thickened. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Flatten each biscuit from the dough can into about 1/4-inch thick rounds.
  4. Place about a tablespoon of cooled apple filling in the center of each round. Carefully fold and pinch edges to seal.
  5. Dip each bomb in melted butter and roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Arrange sealed bombs seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Let cool slightly before serving.
