  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  2. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and add to the marinade. Coat well and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  5. Toss marinated chicken pieces in cornstarch until coated.
  6. Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), shaking halfway through.
  7. Once cooked, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
