  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mashed potatoes if not using pre-made; ensure they are chilled and firm.
  2. In a bowl, mix chilled mashed potatoes, mozzarella or cheddar, Parmesan, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Roll about one tablespoon of the mixture into balls and set aside.
  4. Coat each ball in breadcrumbs until evenly covered.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray each ball with cooking spray and arrange in the basket.
  6. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving warm with dipping sauces.
